These socks didn't work for me. I read the other reviews and took a gamble. When I got mine they were so tough and rough. They did keep my feet warm, but they don't ventilate as well as my Wigwam socks. I tried to give these pair a second chance on a colder day, but it was just too rough for my feet.

I'm sure these are tough socks and would be great for someone that can easily wear a hole through their socks. But I'm just looking for a nice warm pair of winter socks that can keep me warm on my long winter walks. So I settled on Wigwam Women's Merino Wool Cushioned Quarter Socks instead.

I bought a pair of these merino wool socks for my boyfriend, and MY GOODNESS do they run small. Compared to a pair of same-sized EMS socks, they are three sizes smaller. He can barely get his foot into them.
The sock looks nice, arrived on time and seems as if it'd be comfortable if the sizing was right, but that doesn't count for much if it can double as a Chinese foot-binding tool.

My husband and I have purchased this brand of socks for a number of years and feel that they're an excellent value. They hold up very well and are very comfortable. The fact that they are manufactured in the U.S. is an additional plus.
